The 2010 National Ki Aikido Seminar, hosted by Midland Ki Federation, will be held
Thursday, July 8 - Sunday, July 11 at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
The seminar will be taught by Shinichi Tohei Sensei, Chief Instructor and President of Shin Shin Toitsu Aikidokai
(Ki Society HQ) and son of Koichi Tohei Soshu (Founder).

Houston Ki Aikido participated in the 2010 Houston Japan Festival at Hermann Park on Saturday, April 10.
We performed a skit called "Dojo Yaburi", a dojo challenge reminiscent of ancient times.

Houston Ki Aikido is pleased to host
Koichi Kashiwaya sensei,
(8th dan, Shin Shin Toitsu Do Aikido), Chief Instructor
of the Midland Ki Federation,
on Saturday October 3 and Sunday October 4 2009.
Kashiwaya sensei is the highest ranking Ki Aikido professional in North America
and has been teaching Aikido and Ki Development for over 35 years.
Saturday, October 3 is a a full day weapons seminar. Kashiwaya sensei will teach aikiken and
aikijo in a manner uniquely his, demonstrating the connections
between weapons technique and aikido.
On Sunday, October 4, 2009, a half day will be devoted to
instruction in meditation, ki breathing and misogi. This is a free session open to the community
(no Aikido or martial arts experience required).
